In the world of a hopeless romantic

I'm a hopeless romantic and that's ok.
So what if I think deep down inside that my life is a fairytale?
I may never find my prince charming, and my knight in shining armor may never come to save me from my tower.
But I don't really have a say in it, do I?
Life is just one giant game, a game full of chance, nothing more, nothing less.

I have dreams that are bound to be nothing more than whispers in the wind, and that's just fine.
I guess some dreams are better left dreams, and I guess some things are just too good to ever be true.
But maybe...just maybe... One day, the stories will walk off of the pages and into reality...
But until then... I'll continue to have dreams of what could be...
Dreams of all of those moments that could have been...

In this crazy world we live in, it seems like romance has vanished into the pages of novels, and the screens of movies, as if nothing more than a work of fiction.
Though I haven't experienced it, in fact I may never experience it... I know that true romance, though hard to find, still exists.
I'm just a girl, a simple, witty girl who has no idea what life has in store for her, a girl who keeps thinking that someday soon, she's going to meet the boy who makes her eyes sparkle with an ardent fire, and heart feel like it's pounding louder than the drums of war...
But I suppose until I find him... I must continue to dream...
